Abstract.
The compound trans-[PtCl2(NH2C6H4CO2H)2]
has been shown to form a two-dimensional hydrogen-bonded network
in the solid state, with pairs of O–H···O hydrogen bonds between
carboxylic acid groups linking the molecules into zigzag tapes,
which are cross-linked into sheets by pairs of N–H···Cl hydrogen
bonds.
