Abstract:
QSAR
studies have been performed on a series of 22 Novel Alkoxybenzyl
glycine derivatives using different physicochemical parameters
namely hydrophobicity constant (π), molar refractivity (MR) as
steric and resonance as electronic properties. The anti diabetic
activities of these derivative showed good correlation with MR
and indicator parameter I as shown in eqn. 7( r = 0.895 & ftest
= 36.063). Extra validation has been performed to show the
validity of the above equation with an outlier (compound no.
15).
KEYWORD: QSAR, PPARγ agonist, Type-2 diabetes.
