Abstract: Oxyresveratrol, a derivative compound of stilbene, has successfully been isolated from the root wood of Artocarpus dadah which is grown in Lampung Province, Indonesia. The structure of this compound was identified and determined based on the physical properties and spectroscopy techniques. The compound isolated was found to have high cytotoxicity against leukemia P-388 cancer cell and has high bioactivity against Bacillus subtillis, Escherichia coli, Rhizopus oligosporus, and Fusarium oxysporum.

Key words: A. dadah, oxyresveratrol, bioactivity, leukemia P-388 cancer cell
