13- SPECTROSCOPIC STUDIES OF 2-(3-NITROPHENYL)-1H-IMIDAZOLE [4,5-f][1,10]-PHENANTHROLINE AND  COMPLEXES

         ABSTRACT

In this study, the 2-(3-Nitrophenyl)-1H-Imidazole [4,5-f][1,10] phenanthroline ligand (L) and its complexes with Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Cd(II) and Zn(II) acetates were .synthesized. The structure of the complexes and ligand were characterized by using elemental analysis, UV, IR, NMR, TGA, DTA and magnetic measurements.
